Become a Donor
You can help support CDP by becoming a Donor
CDP welcomes all donations, of any value, towards its work, from individuals, and businesses. All donations go towards improving and developing our services.
You can pay on-line, by credit or debit card, or by post, by cheque or standing order. Also, if you are a UK tax payer, then you can increase the value of your gift at no cost to yourself.
CDP’s Fundraising Promise
CDP is a member of the Fundraising Standards Board self-regula
tory scheme. The Fundraising Standards Board works to ensure that organisations raising money from the public do so honestly and properly. As members of the scheme, we follow the Institute of Fundraising's Codes of Fundraising Practice and comply with the keyprinciples embodied in the Codes and in this Promise.
CDP is committed to the highest standards of honesty, accountability and transparency in fundraising. We hope that this commitment by us will ensure that you are entirely happy with the way that we raise funds and seek donations. However, should you have any cause for concern, this Complaints Procedure sets out how we will aim to resolve your complaint against us and, if we do not do so to your complete satisfaction, how you can take it to the Fundraising Standards Board for resolution.

The value of your donation can be increased by use of the Gift Aid scheme. If you are a UK tax payer, then CDP can reclaim tax on your donation, making it even more valuable at no cost to yourself. We will get a further 28p for every £1 that you donate. Please do fill out one of these forms if you are a tax payer.

What is more, if you are a higher rate taxpayer you will be able to claim the difference between the basic and higher rate of income tax, currently 18% through your tax return.
For every £10 that you give you will receive a rebate of £2.30 (i.e. 18% of the gross donation). Therefore, your donation will be worth £12.80 to CDP and cost you just £7.70.
